    This tour includes a fairly easy climb up to about 1100 m above sea level, and a very technical and funny descent.
    We start from Arco, from the village of Chiarano and we climbed the narrow road that leads to the area of Baone, among the olive trees, overlooking Arco.
    In a short time we exit from the asphalt on the slope leading to Padaro. Fortunately, arriving this direction, we skip the most difficult piece, which allows us to reach the village of Padaro briefly.
    From here we continue along the road leading to San Giovanni al Monte, until we reach the so-called Doss del Clef .
    Near the sign indicating the view point of the Doss del Clef, starts the forest road that will take us up to Bocca di Tovo. It's about 3 km long, not very hard and with a suggestive panorama!
    The highest point of our journey is the Bocca di Tovo, about 1079 m above sea level. It is also the beginning of the descent, which will take us to the Cross of Bondiga, Volta no and finally Varignano.
    From Bocca di Tovo then follow down the path 409, a single trail within the forest , not particularly difficult, that at one point he reunites with the 401 coming down from San Giovanni al Monte. Some bends and we reach the famous Cross of Bondiga, where we can admire the Tovo valley and, behind, the Garda Lake.
    The trail 409 starts again just under the cross. What awaits us now is a very technical single trail, but with a fairly various background : it goes from rocks and stones, to a very wet brush on smooth stones.
    We recommend great attention in this section, especially for those who are not sure or do not have the suitable bike (a full ammo bike).
    Exhausted by the descent, we arrive in Novino, a small vilage surrounded by beautifully evocative green fields.
    Descending in the direction of Volta di No, we follow the signs for Piazza-Varignano. This is the last piece of our descent route, we will go through olive trees until we reach back Vigne.
    In conclusion, it is a very various tour, especially for those seeking a little adventure and adrenaline. Always keep very high levels of attention during the descent, though!

    Percorso fatto ieri. La salita parte subito bella tosta con qualche rampa ma poi diventa più tranquilla su asfalto. Ad un certo punto diciamo a 3/4 salita si prosegue su strada battuta sterrata un pò impegnativa per chi non ha molto allenamento! La discesa all'inizio è scorrevole sottobosco ma dopo che si è imboccata la val di tovo inizia una vecchia mulattiera che non da tregua a braccia e gambe dall'inizio alla fine! Abbastanza tecnica con sassi smossi misti a sassi compatti. Una full è quasi d'obbligo! Comunque un breve giro divertente e tecnico. Consiglio di portarsi l'acqua necessaria perché ci sono poche fontane durante tutto il giro.

    Bel giro, fatto oggi con temperature primaverili. Bella salita tutta pedalabile. Il primo tratto della discesa impegnativo e tecnico. L'ultimo bivio abbiamo seguito per val di no ma la strada diventa subito asfaltata. Forse bisognava continuare per Varignano?? Complimenti per il sito davvero utlissimo

    salita e discesa impegnative ma ricche di soddisfazioni attenzione a non sbagliare l'ultimo bivio.....strada improponibile
